This is the second time I’ve purchased Bilstein shocks for a Toyota truck, I haven’t been disappointed with the upgrade yet.I have a 2014 Tundra SR5 TRD Off-road 4x4 and these were what came on the truck. They were so good and lasted so long I put these back on again. very happy.I did not install them (not a job for me). Took them to a trusted mechanic.ps - you will need to get the bushings kit for each of the rear shocks. You will have to get these from the dealer, as it is a dealer part (and not a Bilstein part). My Toyota dealer had them in one day and the rubber bushings/washer plates cost were not cheap --- $65 per side.Great product at a great price. You will need to order rubber grommets separately. It's tough to know how new shocks /struts will affect my ride. So I decided to go with a high quality OEM type replacement with the best name assuming the best result of pleasing ride with superior reserve for control. But it didn't work out that way for me.Billstein's are high quality but not tuned for my taste on my Tundra 2011 sr5 crew cab 4wd . These Bilstein's were overly controlling & delivered an annoying CHOPPY RIDE. I know its a PU but my old Toyota nitrogen OEM struts gave a controlled & less choppy over-the-road ride that were better tuned for the Tundra 2011.In other words, these Bilstein's will handle any fully loaded situation, so if you're always maxing out & hauling trailer loads these will be fine. But for normal highway driving these deliver an annoyingly STIFF, CHOPPY RIDE. Wish I hadn't changed.BOTT LINE: These struts deliver a choppier stiffer ride than my OEM struts. This is the first time I've had that result with Bilstein. The front struts were also changed out with the matching Bilstein shocks to get the full Bilstein effect. Given the annoyingly choppy ride wish I had gone with another set of Toyota OEM nitrogen struts /shocks that are better tuned for my particular tundra model. EARNS 3=STARS.Replaced stock Toyota shocks after 250K miles that were leaking. Very happy with the Bilsteins. Not too hard to install. If the front goes out that is a different story.I'm not sure why anyone had issues with fitting. These were identical to the OEM on my 2008 Tundra. Thread size was different, so use the new lock-nut that it comes with.I added new mounts (Gabriel 143340 Suspension Mount) but only used one of the two new rubber pieces (kept old one on top) so that i didn't have to compress them while mounting.Looks good, very easy mounting. This is awesome!I’m not a mechanic however it was very easy for me to install, even with my limited tools and resources. I did it by myself in les tha 2 hours. The ride of my truck improves dramatically. Very happy with the product.Did upgrade to my Tundra16 SR5, much better than the black OEM absorbers
