I loved the “my little word”book so much I thought why not get this one. Well a little waste because they cover just about the same words and pictures. I kept it because she loves books so why not but if you get the other one, you don’t need this one. Very durable btw.My sons favorite book. By 19 months he knows most of the pictures and even kisses his favorites ones. It’s a huge tough board book so even with some rough tossing and throwing, it’s still intact!My big book series are my child's favorite books. There are a few pictures that I think are a little confusing for small toddlers learning their first words but over all this book is wonderful.Started reading it to a 1 1/2 year old. Held her attention and wanted me to keep going over the pictures and telling her the words. The pictures are colorful and plenty of them. Get kids interested in naming things so they can communicate better.I love this book size what a lot bigger than expected , only thing I didn't like about it for example is when you show a picture of a hat with a child in it kind of makes in confusing. You don't show a picture of two things and call it one thing. other than that the book in awesome my son loves and helped him with his words and recognition of people places and things. And it was a great price for the book as well! Over it is been awesome!!I love these big books. Were a hit with our twins, 18 months. They learned so quick. Big pictures that are clear and colorful. At this age expect them to become large flashcards. When they bent them the bind broke. Would love this big in a spiral bound. Still I think this is a great book and I would buy again.This book isn't the most exciting story time book, but it's great for my 1 year old as he is learning new words. He particularly likes the pictures of babies, which is cute. The book is very big, but I really like that fact because it makes the pictures easy to see and recognize for a little one. I've seen other first word books that are drawings, but I like this one with photographs better because the objects are recognizable. It holds his attention for ages. The book was just as described & arrived promptly when I ordered it.Lovely book for teaching children to talk! 1-2 years is ideal!Awesome for little beginners. Brought for my niece to help her to start talking. Ended up buying another for my own little learner ?It's a good clear picture book but I didn't realise it was American and so it has pants for trousers, stroller for pushchair and sweater for jumper.
