Okay, to start with, and this is not meant to be negative, But I bought the book used. It is in very good condition as far as the book goes. Cover is good, binding is good, pages are all there and in good condition. But the previous owner did write a little in it and did a lot of underlining in the first half of the first chapter. That is not on the seller. The seller said in the add that that might be there. That is the chance you take when you buy used books sight unseen. Other than that the book is fine and I can just ignore the underlining parts. The seller fulfilled his part to my satisfaction. Now about the book itself. It is a good study guide. While others are wanting to get into the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ to John, to see how it's all going to end. Right now I want to know the truth about how it all began. Creation, the first six chapters of Genesis. So many Christians don't even understand what really happened or why it is important. I've been in church for forty years, and can't remember one time hearing a preacher talking about creation. Maybe mention a day or about the fall. But to go over each day, and it's relevance. This book gives answers to a lot of questions I have, and confirms other things that I believed were true. The bible is all about the truth. It is not an allegory, or a myth, it is the truth from God to us.. Since God said he created the heavens and the earth in six days, then why should we believe it took Him thousands of years to create it. Creation, the fall of man and the flood are very important events in history, that changed this planet we live on and our relationship with the Creator who made it all for His pleasure. I do recommend this book for it's knowledge and answers to the questions most people have about the beginning chapters of Genesis. Like who was Cain's wife. Understanding this is not as difficult as we make it out to be. This book is easy to read... mostly. It does go into some scientific stuff that. Other recommended books are Scientific Creationism by Henry Morris. The Genesis Flood, by Henry Morris and John C. Whitcomb.
