I have 4 kids and on the 3rd child I finally found this awesome comprehensive reading program. I tried "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons". It was QUICKLY making my child HATE reading. I used another curriculum with another child that wasn't special but worked. This was ONLY because she was just a natural at academia and still is. This is a great series for most any child and it covers all of the basics: learning sounds, letter recognition, writing, and finally, of course, reading. The ONLY problem I can see a person having with this book is if your child does not have the dexterity yet to write. That would make this program very hard to implement. This is not a problem with my child so heEATS IT UP. He will go and go and go if I don't stop him. I wish all learning products were this comprehensive and thorough. I am so glad I found these. I will never use another program for another child ever again.........barring dexterity issues.
