With I Can’t Believe I’m Entrelac Knitting by Marly Bird, you’ll learn the simple secrets of this classic technique! Though it looks like basket-woven strips, entrelac knitting is actually created by making tiers of individual triangles or rectangles that you interconnect as you go. With the support of free online technique videos, we take you step-by-step through the basic learning process with an E-Reader Cover. Then additional elements are introduced in a Hat (worked in the round), a Scarf (featuring variegated yarn with a long color repeat), an Afghan (without triangles, for a zigzag edge), a Pillow (built around a solid back), and a Baby Blanket (with color changes in every tier and I-cord edging).

I love this book, but I need to access the promised video support. Help!!!Excellent magazine/pamphlet on what looks like a HARD project to have, yet an easy set of directions to make it easy.Love the bookThe basic instructions were very clear. I would have preferred a few more variations. Also for those of us without a computer, the on-line videos are useless. A lot of people have to go to the library to use the computer.I chose this rating because I am still learning the process. At this point I am very pleased with the book. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow I would recommend this book along with the tutorial to anyone wanting to learn entrelac knitting. There are some very basic small projects in this book that are suitable for a beginner. It's better than a book I bought on the same subject, cost twice as much but the projects in there were huge; sweaters, a jacket, poncho. This one is way better. esp for someone that doesn't want to get overwhelmed by doing a big project and learning a new technique. This was very easy to follow. I had a friend that used to make the hats and she never showed my how. I actually made the hat with smaller yarn and smaller needles for a 3 year old. Turned out great!Great book!I think I must be a bit thick. I really didn’t understand these instructions. May be better to see if I can get a dvd.Lovely book. Very useful,. This book explains clearly the method behind entrelac knitting.Written in clear concise easy to read words.Easy to follow instructionsExcellent for total beginner very clear simple instructions but limited contentgood well explained patts
