This was , for me, a book bub gem. I was mesmerized from start to finish. So descriptive and the characters are different and interesting and scarred and definitely flawed.. I can usually figure out by midway thru one of these books that introduce different main characters how it is going to come together. This one had my mind in overdrive and I didn't have a clue until the last few chapters. This was brilliantly written and just a darn good read. I would have given 5 stars, but I reserve that for "The Help". But, this was darn close!
