This book is fantastic. I bought this for my 5 year old at the same time I got the New Saint John’s Missal for my friend’s daughter for her First Communion. After looking more closely at it, it’s going in the gift bag as a companion book to the other and I’ve already ordered two more for my own kids. Yes, it doesn’t have the text of all the recited prayers. Just type them up, print it and stick it under the cover of this book. The INVALUABLE part of this books is how warm and engaging it is. It talks on a child’s level, suggests things for them to look for during mass and explains the significance in a way that will click with kids. My little guys have no clue what’s going on during mass and are bored unless I let them read. They are going to WANT to pay attention now. This was a great accidental find.
