I was lucky enough to sample this book. It's not about big showoffy peace projects, protests, or marches as you might suppose. The author's tenet is that before you can create peace anywhere else you have to learn to be at peace with yourself and let that peace expand to your significant other(s)... your family... and eventually you'll be able to find ways to help make a more peaceful world. Each chapter has a list of resources at its end, and a one or two page anecdotal story to illustrate the points of the chapter.I think this book would be useful for teachers, counsellors -- any kind of group leader-- anyone who's ready to take the trouble to study the ways of real peace and think out how to act to bring peace, end needless conflict, personally or in the larger world.
